Land whale concepts! I will probably design some more as well but beluga land whales will be my primary focus.
The point of me designing these land whales is a body positive/fat positive thing. People call fat people “land whales” as an insult (or just whales too) And I say, lets think about that.
Whales are pretty awesome. And beautiful and adorable. They are AMAZING animals. And a land whale? Would be freaking adorable.
So I decided to create a visual for it. Something people can think of if anyone calls them that. Take the steam out of the insult by making it adorable and wonderful.
Whales are amazing. I am PROUD to be a land whale :3
There will be lots more art of them, and eventually things like t-shirts and charms. ENJOY <3
